Barcode Program
This program is currently only available to students at Blossom Hill Elementary School.
The Blossom Hill Safe Routes to School Committee (SR2S) and LG-MS SR2S are partnering to encourage students to use People Power to school with the Honey Bee Barcode Program. This exciting program motivates our students to walk, bike, roll and carpool to school, which reduces traffic congestion and provides a healthier environment for our school. This frequent walker/rider program utilizes a SR2S developed barcode program* to help students keep track of how often they participate in active transportation activities. Registration for the Honeybee Barcode card is simple. Download the permission slip, help your student complete it and return it to the office.

*The barcoded card is a laminated paper card about the size of a credit card with a personalized QR code. When scanned with a device outside our program, only a student name appears. No other identifying information is available The program utilizes a SR2S developed program that is run on an Android device. No information is stored on the device. All scanning uploads to a password protected site managed by SR2S and made accessible to the school site. Participation is voluntary. The student may print their name on the card to make it easier to identify. It is the student's responsibility to bring their card with them to be scanned on the appropriate days.
